Birth and Death Certificates

If you don't have the original  birth or death certificates, then they can be obtained from State Registrars.

Note for those living in the Albany area:

The WA Registrar has an office in Albany, 184 Stirling Terrace, 9845 5200, where birth certificates for years 1974 onwards and marriage and death certificates for years 1984 onwards can be obtained, usually the same day. For certificates outside these years the request is faxed to Perth for processing.
